My commitment to empowering entrepreneurs started in the most unexpected place—a small auto repair shop where I worked part-time during undergrad. One day, I overheard the shop owner struggling to understand his CPA on a phone call. Even though I only heard one side of the conversation, I could tell the disconnect was costing him clarity—and possibly money. That moment stuck with me. I realized how many business owners fail not because they lack drive, but because they don’t fully understand their numbers.
Fast forward to today:
I’m a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with nearly 25 years of experience. My career has spanned owning a small CPA firm, working at a Fortune 500 financial services company, and teaching adult students as a business management instructor. I’ve worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs—helping them not only clean up the financial messes but, more importantly, avoid them in the first place.
I’m not the kind of CPA who enjoys digging through disorganized ledgers. I’d rather help you build a solid financial foundation from day one. That’s why I take a systematic, proactive approach—focusing on financial literacy, intentional planning, and empowering you to lead your business with confidence.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t need to become a financial expert, but you do need to understand the basics.
It’s your rite of passage if you want your business to survive and thrive.
Financial advisors are important, but they’re not magic.
You must lead the team—and that starts with understanding your numbers.
